Interesting article and definitely surprised Morillo isn’t returning for another season. Hmmm I wonder how that will affect him playing for Eddie Dean and at Pacha in NYC.

So I see both sides to the story… on one hand you have Whittle who helped build up the brand, the club, started the Pacha record label, as well as boosted these DJs to all new levels. Making boat loads of money - hey why not, it does sound pretty justified. On the flip side as a family run business - where does it stop? Obviously those payouts are not too sustainable and there definitely needs to be some checks and balances in place before things balloon outta control.

Anyways, I was a bit disappointed with the club the last two seasons so I think it’s a refreshing idea and a bold move for the Urgell family. I’m sure they will loose a large portion of their crowd to the Cipriani restaurant and BOMBA nightclub however with their plans for a whole new talent lineup I don’t see it being much competition for them. With that, it’ll be interesting how Pacha matches up to DC-10 and now Sankeys since they plan on bringing in more underground artists.

I’m sure this is the first of many new changes and exciting twists for the 2013 Ibiza season…

Monday
Cocoon at Amnesia
Interesting shift with Hawtin having his own night but nothing unexpected. With that, I don’t see the success of this party being affected at all.

CircoLoco at DC-10
Again, in my opinion this party and the fans (myself included) will not be anywhere else on Monday afternoon/early evening.

A State of Trance at Privilege
I haven’t been to Privilege yet and I would love to check out the room as well as hear AVB however, the competition is too tight for me on Monday’s. Hopefully he can fill the room as RA mentions and have success with the party.

Tuesday
Together at Amnesia
I really want to hear Eric Prydz and Jeremy Olander in the Terrace so I might have to make a late night appearance for this party.

Diynamic at Sankeys
Glad to hear this venue is back for another season despite their slow first year. I’ll definitely be checking out Solomun’s party before heading over to Amnesia for Prydz.

Carl Cox at Space
Despite being nless John Digweed or Sasha is the special guest on the 8.28 (which right now they aren’t) I’ll be skipping this party and sticking to my agenda at Sankeys and Amnesia.

Wednesday
Subliminal at Pacha
One of the two parties I missed last season so I definitely wouldn’t be missing Morillo this time around.

Be at Space
I love Lawler and Tiefschwarz arguably dropped one of my favorite sets last year at the Kehakuma Terrace so I know this will be another amazing night.

SHM at Ushuaia
Not for nothing but they always put on a good show and considering it’ll be their closing party – I’ll be in attendance. Besides that Ushuaia needs to be hit up at least once during my stay.

Thursday
Paradise at DC-10
Love how Jamie Jones and the Hot Creations crew landed their own night in my favorite venue. No doubt will I be there. Now all I need is Maceo Plex to be the guest DJ on 8.30

ENTER. / Kehakuma at Space
Fun concept and I’m sure Hawtin will have an over the top main stage production as well as solid techno guests. Definitely deserving for the DC-10 after party.

Friday
Music On at Amnesia
With Carola and Audiofly on the Terrace this will surely be a fun and driving night.

Pandemonium at DC-10 
Tania was very impressive when I heard her on a Monday in the Terrace so I could only imagine the good vibes to be had during her long running residency.

All Gone Pete Tong at Pacha
Pete brings in the big names so I’m sure this will be one fun party.

Saturday
Defected at Pacha and Carnival at Sankeys seem like the only parties worth checking out. Luckily I’ll be in Formentera over the weekend soaking up the sun on those amazing beaches!

Sunday
Sundays for me will be at Café Mambo, Blue Marlin, and Lio.
